Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread {Low Carb, Keto, Gluten Free}
Ingredients
Fat Head Dough
- 3/4 c. almond meal/flour
- 1 and 3/4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 T. cream cheese
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt
- 1 T. garlic powder
Garlic and Cheese Topping
- 1 T butter
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1- 2 c cheddar jack cheese shredded (I used 2 cups)
- Low carb pizza or marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Combine almond flour, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl. Cook for one minute in microwave. Stir, and cook for additional 30 seconds in the microwave.
- Mix in egg, salt, and garlic powder, and stir.
- Shape dough into a ball and place between two pieces of parchment
- Use a rolling pin on top of parchment paper to roll dough into a circle
- Remove the top parchment paper and slide dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment underneath. Poke holes all over dough with a fork to avoid bubbling.
- Combine melted butter and minced garlic and brush all over dough.
- Bake at 425 degrees in the oven for 12-14 minutes until browned on top.
- Add shredded cheese. Continue cooking in oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts. Using a pizza cutter, cut dough into wide strips and serve with low carb pizza dipping sauce. Say Grace and enjoy!
