Rosemary & Garlic Dinner Rolls

Happy 14 Days Before Thanksgiving, Guys!! Have you started all of your Thanksgiving menu planning yet? I’m a little behind but should have everything set by this coming weekend. I wanted to share a super simple recipe for Rosemary & Garlic Dinner Rolls. This is yet another easy one to incorporate on your Thanksgiving menu this year. This simple recipe uses ready made dough balls right from your grocers freezer section.

Long ago, the use of yeast in baking used to be so daunting to me. The RISING dough is practically ALIVE! I likened it to that “Amen” episode where Thelma decided to bake some bread for Christmas. She misread the directions and added in 5 lbs. of yeast for 6 servings of bread. Needless to say, the rising yeasty dough escaped the oven, taking over the entire kitchen knocking the Christmas turkey on the Victorian floor tiles and almost suffocated Deacon Frye and Reverend Gregory. It ends with the fire department rescuing the massive dough form on a stretcher!!! Baaaahaaaa!!! Too funny! I just love that episode!!! Years ago,  I happened upon an easy recipe for Buttered Rosemary Rolls by Pioneer Woman. How much easier can you get than using ready made frozen dough balls?!?!?! If you must make them from scratch, be sure to use my Maple Pecan Cinnamon Rolls recipe as the base here. Yep, I conquered yeast!!!

Are the circumstances of life getting you down? As Christians, we need to RISE up to God’s way of thinking. We need to RISE above the trick of the enemy who wants us to keep our eyes on said circumstances and off of God. Listen guys, God is sooooooooooooo much BIGGER than our circumstances. 1 Peter 5:7 states that we should be, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Choose today to make your circumstances God’s problem, not yours!!! Rest and trust in Him. Say Grace and enjoy!!

I’m a little wary of using yeast as well, so using frozen dinner rolls really appeals to me and I love the use of the cast iron skillet!
