This crowd pleasing Beefy Queso Cheese Dip is creamy, spicy, packed with ground beef, and super simple to make in the slow cooker!
Hey Folks!! Anyone that knows me knows that I simply cannot live without my queso cheese dip. I know most think of it as a snack or appetizer but I enjoy it so much that I could literally eat it for lunch, dinner and even breakfast!!! Yes I said breakfast!!! Give me some Cut da Carb chips and I can make an entire meal out of it. Lol!!!
So given that this is one of my faves, I can’t believe that I’ve yet to share the recipe.
This life changing, creamy, spicy tex-mex queso cheese dip is a great game-day crowd favorite too!!
HOW TO MAKE BEEFY QUESO CHEESE DIP
Many queso cheese dips start off great but as they cool, you’re left with a grainy, floury mess!!! The secret ingredient in this recipe is evaporated milk.
I also use American cheese because it melts flawlessly and the pepper jack adds to the kick of it all. I like making it in the slow cooker so that it’s no fuss. Just set it and stir it every 30 minutes.
- Brown Ground Beef. Add beef to a hot skillet and season with Say Grace Taco Seasoning and cook until browned.
- Add the Evaporate Milk. Add the evaporated milk to the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Add the Cheese. Add the American and pepperjack cheeses to the slow cooker.
- Add the Other Ingredients. Toss in the diced jalapenos, diced tomatoes with green chiles and browned beef. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 2 hours. Be sure to stir every 30 minutes.
- Garnish & Serve. Garnish with jalapeños, and reserved ground beef. Serve warm with a side of tortilla chips!
I hope you’ll give one of my favorite recipes a try at your next gathering. It certainly goes fast!!! Say Grace and enjoy!!
