All of the flavors of a traditional Christmas sugar cookie combined with white hot chocolate makes for a deliciously warming treat!
Every year, right before Christmas, my family goes caroling through our neighborhood. None of us claim to be able to really hold a tune in a bucket, but it brings us so much joy to sing the Lord’s praises. It’s so wonderful to be able to share the Gospel of Christ with others and most are really blessed by it. For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
Needless to say, it get’s quite chilly here in Michigan (this year not included…after all, it’s 50 degrees outside this week 🙂 ) and it’s nice to be able to come back in from the cold to enjoy this warm hot chocolate and Yummy Frosted Sugar Cookie Popcorn. Sooooo since we’ll be missing out on a white Christmas this year due to the unseasonably warm temperatures, I’d thought I’d switch it up and make a white hot chocolate this year. Sugar Cookie White Hot Chocolate to be exact! Yes, I know that white chocolate is not really chocolate but it’s still pretty yummy in my opinion.
This recipe is so simple to make and it’s sure to warm up those bones if you happen to be experiencing some arctic temperatures right now. However, it’s still great enough to enjoy even in warmer temperatures. I simply combine whole milk with half & half along with vanilla cookie creamer and chopped white chocolate to make this delicious warm beverage. Then for fun, I top it with crushed sugar cookies for an added tasty crunch! Oh my yum!! Have a Merry Christmas, Guys! Say Grace and enjoy!!

This sounds wonderful I need a dairy free version of this in my life.
Felesha says
Thanks Charla! I could imagine that combining rice or almond milk, dairy free white chocolate, vanilla and coconut whipped cream could bring you close. Of course, the flavor would be slightly altered with the almond milk. Let me know how it turns out! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
