Butter Swim Biscuit Recipe {Just 4 Ingredients}

Buttermilk biscuit dough takes a dip in a pool of golden butter. The result is fluffy, crispy, buttery biscuits that are nothing short of amazing!!! This butter swim biscuit recipe is perfect with breakfast or as a side for any southern meal.

2 1/2 c Self Rising Flour I use White Lily 1 T sugar 1 3/4 c buttermilk 1 stick melted butter I use Kerry Gold
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Whisk flour and sugar together until blended
Stir in buttermilk and mix until dough forms
Pour melted butter into a 10 inch cast iron skillet
Drop dough into skillet and spread evenly over the butter. The butter will start to cover the biscuits
Score the dough into 9 squares (really triangles in the corners).
Place in oven for 28 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with jam, jelly or honey. Say Grace and enjoy!!
