Butter Swim Biscuit Recipe {Just 4 Ingredients}

Buttermilk biscuit dough takes a dip in a pool of golden butter. The result is fluffy, crispy, buttery biscuits that are nothing short of amazing!!! This butter swim biscuit recipe is perfect with breakfast or as a side for any southern meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 c Self Rising Flour I use White Lily
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 3/4 c buttermilk
  • 1 stick melted butter I use Kerry Gold

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Whisk flour and sugar together until blended
  • Stir in buttermilk and mix until dough forms
  • Pour melted butter into a 10 inch cast iron skillet
  • Drop dough into skillet and spread evenly over the butter. The butter will start to cover the biscuits
  • Score the dough into 9 squares (really triangles in the corners).
  • Place in oven for 28 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve with jam, jelly or honey. Say Grace and enjoy!!
