Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 c. currants
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 T. Say Grace Vanilla Extract
  • 1 c. medium grain white rice
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. whole milk
  • 2 T. heavy whipping cream
  • 1 T. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 T. Say Grace Vanilla Extract
  • Salted Caramel Goodness
  • 1/2 c. roasted pecans garnish
  • 2 sliced bananas garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine the raisins, beaten egg and vanilla. Set aside for 1 hour.
  • In a medium nonstick pot, combine the rice, water, milk, whipping cream, butter, and salt.
  • Gently boil over medium high heat, then cover the pot, reduce to low, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the pot from the stove and add the sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
  • Add beaten egg raisin vanilla mixture.
  • Serve immediately with salted caramel, pecans and bananas.
