Homemade Cranberry Sauce
This super easy and delicious traditional sauce made with fresh cranberries, apples and pears is perfect for topping all things thanksgiving!
- 12 oz. fresh cranberries picked and rinsed
- 1 Gala apple peeled and diced
- 1 Bartlett pear peeled and diced
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. water
- pinch of cinnamon
In a medium saucepan, dissolve the sugars in the orange juice and water over medium heat.
Stir in the cranberries, diced apples and pears and cook until cranberries pop open (about 15 minutes).
Remove from the heat, add the cinnamon an mix well.
Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Say Grace and enjoy!
