Homemade Cranberry Sauce

This super easy and delicious traditional sauce made with fresh cranberries, apples and pears is perfect for topping all things thanksgiving!

  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries picked and rinsed
  • 1 Gala apple peeled and diced
  • 1 Bartlett pear peeled and diced
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • pinch of cinnamon


  • In a medium saucepan, dissolve the sugars in the orange juice and water over medium heat.
  • Stir in the cranberries, diced apples and pears and cook until cranberries pop open (about 15 minutes).
  • Remove from the heat, add the cinnamon an mix well.
  • Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Say Grace and enjoy!
